    Shelton Johnson: Under the Influence of Mountains

    Shelton Johnson, an author and park ranger at Yosemite National Park in California, came to Alaska for the first time to participate in a Special Emphasis Speaker Series at Camp Denali. His presentation at the Denali Visitor Center on June 26, 2011, hosted by Alaska Geographic, was captured by three pocket camcorders, and is presented here in its entirety. Johnson made several noteworthy appearances in the PBS documentary series "The National Parks: America's Best Idea" by Ken Burns and Dayton Duncan, as well as the Oprah Winfrey Show.
