    Dominion Over the Earth??

Welcome to the show! This episode Arrowind's Brother Evaldi joins us again while we talk about an epiphany that came to Fox's mind during a Mid-Summer ritual. How much healing does the Earth really need versus how much healing does civilization need? As the conversation goes it rapidly becomes apparent that we're also talking about the varying levels of dominion being exercised upon us and that we exercise over our experiences. The conversation gets into the deep end rather quickly and some of the points being made take a while to come to conclusion. Stay with it as I feel some of these issues rather deeply and as such think this is one of those great, deep shows we do every once in a while.
No segments this time. It was just one of those shows where we had to take a deep breath as soon as we were done and go to bed. We record pretty late at night sometimes. Stay tuned for WWFD, Podcast of the Moment, and more in future episodes.
As I type this out I think again of how we might need to give ourselves some healing energy the next time we're trying to heal the planet. Give some energy to those around you, to those both in and out of our community. If we spread enough healing around perhaps it will begin to make some significant difference in the implausible paths our world is sliding toward. Take care of yourself and take care of the space around you. I know we all generally try to do just this but remaining conscious of the decisions to do so helps a bit. At least I hope it does.

    Dressing the Part,,,

or On Being Dressed To Kill. He he he,,, On this show Arrowind and Fox talk about thier views on costumery and dressing up in the Pagan community. They talk about some of thier favorite styles of dress and costumes and discuss some of the reactions they've encountered in the world at large. We share a few thoughts on how both elaborate and simple costumes lend to the mind sets of sucsessful pagan pagentry and its effects.

Drop us a line if you can. Trust me I know how it is. Everyone is just busier than all get out. Work's rough, the house needs tons of attention,,,,,,, ect. ect. I know.  Well we do what we can.  Drop us a review at i-Tunes if you get us there and have the time. We'd truly appreciate it.  And please, pass us along to a friend or two or three. Help us build up the PPOTE community. Like I said "I know it's been really rough out there." Please everybody take care of yourselves and if you've got it in you, lend a friend a hand.

The Sacredness of Camping and the Fututre of PPOTE

After the May camping run at Blue Ridge Beltaine Fox and Arrowind spend a bit of time talking about the rituals involved in actually getting there. The sacred mindsets created by the loading, packing in, and setting up of the camp gear. Fox takes this pretty seriously and considers it ritual as he does it. The conversation on this subject is relatively short but nice. Arrowind and Fox love camping and it shows.
We have finally gotten the basic set up in place for the way that PPOTE is going to be going forward. It took a while and quite the number of discussions. We've posted about this on Facebook and the Podbean hoster page but this is the first time we've really brought it up on the show to explain it. We shall see how this all works out going forward. If you've got any questions please, join us on Facebook or email us at paganparentsote@gmail.com and just come right on and ask. We're excited to see if the new PPOTE direction takes off for a number of reasons. You can find a descriptive of how the show is now being presented on the Premium Content page.
It's been a long strange journey for us here at the PPOTE household and we're really just beginning, "miles to go before I sleep," as Frost said. I try and stay cognizant of the whole "it's the journey not the destination," but am looking forward to at least the arrival of some milestones. I think it's similar for everyone. Don't let the journey wear you down. Don't entirely focus on the destination. Remember that it's there but don't miss enjoying the journey for it. And watch for milestones. Sometimes they're more subtle than we realize.
